In late 2001, smart UK’s technical department was contacted by Alan Pierce of Bantam Trailers, Ltd to design a car trailer specifically to carry a Smart Fortwo behind a motorhome. The ‘Bantam Car Trailer’ was launched in April of 2002, and became an instant success. Bantam's Car Trailer has been recommended by smart as the preferred method of transporting the smart fortwo. The same great design proven in Europe is being used by Bantam Trailers USA. |
